With more than 30 years experience Kari Ritacco founded and leads RedIron Public Relations and with a team of more than a dozen practitioners. Kari began her career with Alexander Communications, the nation’s premier technology public relations firm. While there, she was responsible for a variety of global early stage public company technology brands and leading multi-million dollar account teams. The firm was later acquired by Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide where Kari headed the Atlanta technology practice as Vice President. To date she has worked with more than 300 technology companies in providing a full range of public relations programs including mergers and acquisitions, crisis communications and media training.

Where did the name come from? RedIron is a combination of two concepts.
Red = Passion for the work we do. It is with relentless drive and the pursuit of excellence.
Iron = The strength of our experience. Also it is a nod to Pittsburgh, the steel city where people are brought up as hardworking and with strong work ethic – and where the founder was born and raised
